• Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE): FUE is considered a minimally invasive procedure. The area between the ears is considered the “donor” area, and that is where follicular units (groups of 1-4 hairs) are extracted using either a manual or robotic method, and then transplanted to the “recipient” area, which is usually the hairline, midscalp, crown or temples.  This procedure requires the patient to shave the donor area so these grafts can be more easily obtained.  The procedure leaves very tiny holes in the scalp which scab over and heal within a few days.  It’s considered scarless because it does not need to be sutured, and scarring is usually pinpoint which allows to continue to wear hairstyles that use short fades.

What Types of Hair Transplantation Do We Do?

• Scalp to Scalp: This is the tradition hair transplant where we take hair from the donor area and place it in the recipient area.
• Scalp to Beard: For those who desire more facial hair, we utilize hair from the donor area and transplant it into the areas in the beard or mustache that have been artistically drawn before the surgery.
• Scalp to Eyebrow: For perfect facial symmetry, anywhere from 50-500 grafts can be placed in the eyebrows to obtain a full brow. Once these hairs are transplanted, they are permanent and can be groomed and trimmed to the desired shape.
• Body Hair Harvesting: Not everyone is a candidate for a traditional hair transplant based on poor quality donor hair or density.  Our skilled clinicians can remove hair from other areas on the body (beard, chest, back, arms, and legs) in order to create a comprehensive graft plan.  This procedure usually requires a 2 day process, and is considered an advanced level of hair transplantation. 

Non-Surgical Hair Restoration Options

Microneedling for Hair Loss:

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that jump-starts the skin’s natural healing process by creating tiny micro-injuries with fine needles. • Wharton’s Jelly PRP: A substance in the umbilical cord, is rich in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) that can promote tissue regeneration and may stimulate hair follicle growth. When injected into the scalp, it could encourage hair regrowth, improve hair density, and increase thickness. While early research shows promising results, further clinical studies are needed to confirm its effectiveness as a hair loss treatment.

Platelet Rich Plasma Injections (PRP): PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment is a safe, natural, and effective in-office procedure that uses the patient’s own blood to stimulate hair growth and reduce wrinkles.
